Bayside Church began meeting weekly on Easter Sunday in 1995, and
quickly became one of the fastest-growing churches in America. In
the 11 years that have elapsed since, Bayside has grown to more than
8,500 weekly attendance!
Bayside met at local schools until February, 2004, when we opened
our permanent church campus at Sierra College Blvd. and Cavitt-Stallman
Road.
Our vision at Bayside is to meet the needs of children, youth,
and adults in two primary ways:
To share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the thousands of
residents in Granite Bay, Roseville and the surrounding areas,
and to meet the needs of Christians by providing a place for
growth, challenge and fellowship.
Weekend services feature messages by Pastor Ray Johnston that are
biblically-based, relevant, and life-application- oriented. We
believe that solid teaching and heartfelt worship are key
ingredients to Christian community.
Our praise band performs contemporary, uplifting music and is led
by nationally-acclaimed worship leader and recording artist Lincoln
Brewster.
During the week, small groups meet together in homes for Bible
study, caring and sharing. We find life-change happens most often in
this setting.
We have a major commitment to children and youth, as well as
single and married adults of all ages and life stages.
