Where can I leave donations:
In-Kind donations of usable,
almost-new clothing may be left in Dave Coburn's office cube any time
the office is open. If his office is full please call him (cell:
337-7733) and you may place the overflow items in the southeast (back –
left) corner of “The Dock”.
(The Bayside offices
are located across Cavitt-Stalman Road from the Worship Center at 8211
Sierra College Blvd, Suite 440. Office hours are generally 8:30am-5pm,
Monday-Friday.
We also accept
In-Kind donations of usable, almost-new clothing at the Local Outreach
Table at each of our weekend services.
Pickups for donations
can be arranged by appointment.
What
about furniture and appliances:
We take donations of like-new, usable appliances. We will arrange for
pickup. Please call the Depot Phone at 746-8637 (PHO-TOES) or email our
Depot team at
BaysideTheDepot@yahoo.com.
How
are donated items used:
After ensuring that they are usable and like-new, we use them to supply
those who have specific needs at no cost. Clothing is used by our
homeless and transitional family outreaches and furniture is used mostly
by low-income families.
We have a special
kid’s clothing ministry for low-income families.
We reserve the right
to use donations for any of our Bayside Ministries as the needs arise.
We cannot ensure that an item will be used for a specific designated
ministry.
Will
I get a receipt:
If you require a receipt, attach a note to the donated items and a list
of donated items against which we can check them. We will issue a
specific thank-you letter and receipt to you as soon as possible.
Note: values of items will not be indicated on the receipt.
