Acres of Hope
| WHAT: |
Acres of Hope is a long
term housing program for homeless women with children. The purpose of
this unique program is to provide the support and resources needed to
end the cycles of homelessness in their lives. Families may stay in the
program for up to 2 years as they work through various phases of the
program. The goal is that Acres of Hope will be the last program these
families will ever need. |

Volunteer needs
(December 28. 2007)
Our families have a need for volunteers in three
significant areas:
- Drivers – Our moms make appointments on
Wednesday’s (and sometimes other days) and we need volunteers to
drive them to/from.
- Childcare – We have several evening and weekend
activities we’d like to begin including classes for the children.
We need volunteers to help with childcare for these activities.
- Mentors – We have new moms without mentors!
You’re invited to make a difference in the life of a woman who could
benefit from opening your heart.

Families
If you would like to give an extra special gift that will
be remembered and will bless both you and all the families at Acres of Hope,
then sign up your family or small group to plan, purchase, prepare, serve, clean
up and entertain during one evening in 2008. This Christmas program has
been expanded to a year-round program, so sign up any time!
